ABOUT ME
I call myself The Bad Rabbit because it reminds me of an essential part of my childhood. I was raised by my grandmother, a very strict but also very loving woman. Whenever I would get into trouble (like fighting with bullies or blowing my whole allowance on comics), she would scold me up and down and call me ‘bad rabbit!’ It became her nickname for me when I made her angry.
She knew that getting into trouble was part of growing up, and afterward, she would let me know that whatever bad things I did, she would always take care of me and would always take my side.
My grandma passed a while back, but I will never forget her unconditional love and support as I grew. Even now, her voice echoes in my mind after so many years … I still hear her calling me ‘Bad Rabbit’ for all the trouble I got into—MMA fighting, speeding on my motorbike through town. I even used to think: ride or die.
I am The Bad Rabbit in honor of her.
